Let’s make politics boring again and drop the insanity.

I remember when politics infrequently featured two people with opposing views having a heated conversation? Fast forward to the current state of politics, and everyone has gone mad.

Opposition Is Good

Focusing on only one point of view harms society; it leads to extremism. To prevent this, it’s essential to consider multiple perspectives and find balance.

I enjoy discussions with people who have differing views. It helps me learn and grow. Unfortunately, many avoid discussing politics altogether, leading to extremism on all sides.

Sometimes, it’s challenging to balance opposing views. However, extreme views dominating our conversations put our republic at risk. It’s essential to have open discussions and solve big problems together.

Big Problems

The United States of America is facing big problems that need bold solutions. Our infrastructure needs an update. We must realize that automation and robotics will replace manual labor jobs. Our environment is becoming more volatile and dangerous for governments and businesses alike. Our children and many adults can’t afford healthcare or an education. Most of us can’t afford to be homeowners. And last but not least, we’re facing a possible civil war.

Complaining about everything and sowing seeds of dissent, fear, and anger are not solutions to problems. Many members of Congress are pointing fingers everywhere except at themselves.

We need leaders who don’t care about ratings to make politics boring again, and we must reject “influencer” politicians who frequent Fox News and CNN to lie and divide.

Political outcomes would improve if we elected people with solid policy positions and well-crafted solutions.

Turn The Page

As a society, we are at a critical moment. We have two options: we allow irrational ideas and oppressive leaders to win or prioritize rational thinking.

Not all is doom and gloom. At least some Republican leaders like Liz Cheney and Stephen Richer are standing up against the despot. We need a lot more of that.

What’s your take?

I invite you to stand up and help save the republic. Our country needs you to speak out and stand for truth, justice, and the American way.

Staying silent is no longer an option.
